Frequently Asked Questions
What size cover should I purchase for this insert?
For a plump, professional look, industry experts typically recommend buying a cover 1 to 2 inches smaller than your insert. If you're sewing your own cover, calculate your yardage carefully to follow these standard professional sizing rules.
How do I clean and care for this insert?
We highly recommend spot cleaning the exterior with a mild, water-based detergent to tackle minor stains or spills as soon as they happen. If a deeper clean is required, hand-wash the insert in cool water and allow it to air-dry flat for best long-term results. Avoid putting the item in a hot dryer, as extreme heat can permanently compromise the structural integrity of the fibers.
What type of closure is best when making a cover for this insert?
When fabricating your own custom cover for a lumbar cushion, an invisible zipper installed along the bottom seam offers the most professional finish.
